Aela O'Brien
Aela O'Brien, Dance Instructor, Choreographer

Aela has been dancing at Artists in Motion since she was five years old training in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, musical theatre, pointe, and hip hop. As an existing member of the AIM Competition Team, she has received 1st place overall awards, judges awards, emotional execution and storytelling awards, invitations to perform at national competitions, and numerous scholarships. Her love for choreographing has developed throughout her dance career and she has self choreographed different pieces for regional competitions that have received 1st place and scholarships.

Aela is currently on the Paul VI Varsity Football and Competition Dance Teams, where she serves as a captain. She is also part of the Power Surge Performing Arts Center and has the opportunity to perform at the 6ABC Dunkin’ Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Aela is passionate about bringing a positive and fun energy to the dance studio in her classes. She hopes to teach her students new skills and technique, as well as hard work and creativity. She is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the AIM staff and hopes to continue growing as a dancer while teaching her students.
